{Every Christian is compelled by God to magnify the risen Lord Jesus Christ to everyone. God doesn’t allow His children to have a “private faith”}

Jesus Christ bore your guilt, shame, & punishment, and He gave you His righteousness as well.

What spiritual treasure!!!

Therefore it would seem that every Christian would want to share this great news with everybody doesn’t it?

But many professing Christians are fake Christians. These are people who blaspheme God by their claiming Christ, while being ashamed to publicly identify with Him.

This is what’s behind the command to “take up his cross daily”

It’s to continually be identified in Christ, despite the public rejection that comes with it.

So don’t be concerned about having the acceptance of hell-bound Christ rejectors, you stand strong in the risen Lord.

Never be ashamed of your Saviour; He’s the One Who loved you enough to die for you.

(Are you sharing your salvation testimony with others? you should be.)

Matthew 10.32-36

32 “Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.

33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.

34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.

35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.

36 And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household.”

Mark 5.18-19

18 “And when he was come into the ship, he that had been possessed with the devil prayed him that he might be with him.

19 Howbeit Jesus suffered him not, but saith unto him, Go home to thy friends, and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and hath had compassion on thee.”

Luke 8.38-39

38 “Now the man out of whom the devils were departed besought him that he might be with him: but Jesus sent him away, saying,

39 Return to thine own house, and shew how great things God hath done unto thee. And he went his way, and published throughout the whole city how great things Jesus had done unto him.”

Luke 9.23-26

23 “And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.

24 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.

25 For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away?

26 For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father’s, and of the holy angels.”

Luke 12.8-10

8 “Also I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God:

9 But he that denieth me before men shall be denied before the angels of God.

10 And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but unto him that blasphemeth against the Holy Ghost it shall not be forgiven.”

2 Corinthians 5.21

“For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.”

Colossians 3.17

“And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.”
