(Contrary to many calvinist’s beliefs, God is not the author of man’s sinful behaviors)
Isaiah 26.21
“For, behold, the LORD cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.”
Jeremiah 19.5
“They have built also the high places of Baal, to burn their sons with fire for burnt offerings unto Baal, which I commanded not, nor spake it, neither came it into my mind:”
Jeremiah 32.35
“And they built the high places of Baal, which are in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to cause their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire unto Molech; which I commanded them not, neither came it into my mind, that they should do this abomination, to cause Judah to sin.“
Mankind is doing things that God them tells not to do. There are many examples in the Bible. And yes mankind is continuing. What is accepted in the world is nine times out of ten not acceptable by God. It mostly is an abomination.

Amen x 1000 miss Jackie!
You nailed it to a tee.
While I agree with calvinists on the matter of God’s election of people, (and I also see that man simultaneously has the responsibility to respond to the gospel, and I can’t understand how it all works together).
I don’t agree with calvinists when they say that God is behind man’s sins that we commit.
God is so crystal clear in scripture that He hates man’s sins, and His wrath is upon man for his sins.
(I’m thankful that I’m not a calvinist, and I’m thankful that I don’t feel a need to justify any of man’s concocted systematic theologies).
P.S.
I took down my Don Fortner posts for the reason that I just now mentioned.
While he has some excellent messages, some of his stuff is way off base in a hyper calvinistic way.
So much so, that I don’t want to be responsible for spreading his extreme calvinistic views.

Although, the writings of John Calvin are times not easy to understand, what I do know is that Calvinism of today is not what Calvin stood for. And I am sure he would not have liked Calvinists. No worries Mr. Lee, you are doing an excellent job with your posts.
However,
–Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
–1Samuel 19:9 And the evil spirit from the LORD was upon Saul, as he sat in his house with his javelin in his hand: and David played with his hand.
But God will protect His own. And when someone wants to use his free will he must bear the consequences. That free will is mostly that what God does not want us to do. Hopefully you understand what I am trying to say.

We may have different views on different topics. The LORD knows that we do not understand everything. When you ask me, God doesn’t ask that from us. What He does ask from us is to trust and wait for Lord Jesus. Times of tribulation are ahead of us.
God is telling us this so that we can arm us with His Word. And the best thing to do is to encourage each other that one day Jesus Christ will return with power and great glory.
God will make everything new. We’ll receive a new and perfect body. A new heaven and a new earth. The LORD’s Kingdom will be everlasting.
I do appreciate, for me your welcome posts.
Praise the Lord o my soul!
