Good mornin to you.
I want to share some information with you about a topic that has many people duped.
Look please at the following image, and consider what you think it means:
If you’ve been influenced by dispensationalism or Zionism, you probably think that the current country/state of “Israel” is what that scripture is speaking about…but that’s dead wrong.
Ironically, the analysis of that particular scripture is so straightforward, that it almost seems impossible that so many people could be duped by propagandists. (Especially KJV bible believers).
In the king James bible, personal pronouns which represent a singular subject start with the letter “t,” like “thee” “thou” & “thine.”
While personal pronouns which represent a plurality of people start with the letter “y,” like “ye” “you” & “your.” (The way that I remember it is to think: “y” = “y’all” ).
Now being equipped with that knowledge, please read the section of scripture below.
(You’re going to see how obvious it is that the singular person Abram is the subject of that protection from God in scripture).
1 “Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee:
2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:
3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.
4 So Abram departed, as the LORD had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram was seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran.”
That country/state is not the Israel of God.
Now I’m not implying that that particular state has no Christians within its borders, or that God doesn’t save people there. He certainly does, just as He saves people within the borders of any country.
I’m merely trying to share useful information with those who have ears to hear the truth, (even if it’s not socially acceptable to believe).
All glory to the risen Lord Jesus Christ, and no glory to us whatsoever.
