(I wrote the book “Christianity Vs Religion” before I ever saw this film, but it agrees with what is in the book)
All bible versions are not saying basically the same thing
(Why you should be using only the KJV, or its non English equivalent)
Hi there, I want you to know that I too used to be a modern bible user. Nevertheless, God has taught me some very important things about His word. So I encourage you to please consider this topic with the utmost seriousness, because this matter is about differentiating between the truth and untruth regarding what God has said & what He has done.
So let’s get to it shall we?
People sometimes wonder: “if the KJV is the inspired word of God, then what scripture did people use prior to 1611 & the KJV? Did those people not have the inspired word of God?”
Here’s the answer as I understand the matter:
They did have the inspired word of God. They used the Hebrew Masoretic manuscripts for the old testament, and the Greek textus receptus for the new testament, (and subsequent bibles of those texts which pre-date the KJV).
The KJV being the perfection combining of those elements, so the KJV has in essence been here all along.
Now consider this important point please:
If you use modern bible versions, did you ever think about the fact that you have no solid footing to stand on? What I mean is, you have no reference whatsoever that is the absolute word of God. All you have is a translation that you prefer over others. And if you do as I used to do, you’ll pull verses from various modern bible translations so that you can express what you prefer God to have said about something…Making you the final authority of what God has said.
Did you ever really stop to think about the great sin that you are committing against God when you make yourself the judge of God’s word? Or when you communicate untruths in God’s name by using corrupt texts? That should terrify anyone.
Did you also ever really stop to think about how the devil has caused so much confusion within the body of Christ? (Just by having people use different books that claim to be the word of God).
Additionally, did you know that all modern bible versions are based in corrupted manuscripts? There were two occultist men, Westcott & Hort, (Brooke Foss Westcott, 1825-1901 & Fenton John Anthony Hort, 1828-1892) who in the 1800s cobbled together their bible text from corrupt manuscripts which originated from Alexandria Egypt and the vatican. And every bible version that has emerged since the late 1800s are derivatives of their work. (I encourage you to independently research this issue for yourself so that your findings are your own).
The KJV on the other hand predates all of the Westcott & Hort corruptions, and is the pure word of God for English speaking people. The KJV is based in different manuscripts than all of the modern bible versions are. So remember that when some modern bible version advocate claims that “in the Greek that verse says this…” They aren’t referencing the same manuscripts that the KJV is translated from.
Now please allow me to show you a few examples of how modern bible versions corrupt God’s word.
Notice the wording in Matthew 7.14 in the king James bible please:
“Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.”
Now look up that verse in a modern bible version, and you will see how they change the way from being “narrow,” into a way that is “hard” or “difficult.” They purposely change the beautiful narrow way, (salvation exclusively by grace through faith in Jesus Christ), into a way that’s hard or difficult for you to achieve. Thus perverting the simple gospel into a heretical works-based salvation message.
Here’s another example for you. Please read Mark 10.24 from the king James bible:
“And the disciples were astonished at his words. But Jesus answereth again, and saith unto them, Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God!“
Now reference a modern bible version, and you’ll see how they pervert this message in the same way as before. Notice how modern versions remove from that verse how hard it is “for them that trust in riches,“… to only how “hard” or “difficult” it is to enter into the kingdom of God.
What blasphemy against God it is to pervert His word!
The devil wants you to believe a lie so that you’ll be damned. And greedy book publishers don’t care about your soul, they just want to keep raking in money by selling you the latest thing that their marketers can convince you to buy from them.
And did you also notice how modern bible promoters will subtly put down the KJV in the process of promoting their wares? (That’s not by accident). They try to convince you that you can’t understand the KJV, by their mocking its “thees” & “thous.” But what the bible believer knows is, those KJV pronouns like “thees” & “thous” are key features of the KJV that identifies the subject of a sentence. (A benefit that modern versions lack).
Here’s another example of how modern versions pervert God’s word.
Read the following two verses from the KJV please:
1 Corinthians 1.18
“For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.”
“For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.”
Modern bible corruptions will usually insert the word “being” before the words “saved” and “sanctified” in those verses. (Like always, making both of those gifts from God a process of your efforts).
And finally, please consider the magnitude of what God said in Psalm 138.2:
1 “A Psalm of David. I will praise thee with my whole heart: before the gods will I sing praise unto thee.
2 I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.
3 In the day when I cried thou answeredst me, and strengthenedst me with strength in my soul.“
The word “word” in that passage of scripture is spelled with a small “w.” Therefore we know that the written word of God is specifically what’s being referenced, (rather than the Person of the Lord Jesus Christ).
God has magnified His written word above His names: “I AM,” the “LORD,” “Jehovah,” and the “Lord Jesus Christ.”
That’s astounding isn’t it !?
Which emphasizes the importance that God places on His word, (and it reveals the Satanic influence behind those who marginalize His word). So shouldn’t we place that same emphasis on standing in the pure word of God?
So my question to you now is, where are you standing in relation to the word of God?
If you haven’t already, I ask you to please join me in boldly embracing the genuine word of God, the authorized king James bible, (or its non-english equivalent).
All glory to the risen Lord Jesus Christ! And no glory to us whatsoever!
