Good mornin to you dear saint.
Do you have a spiritual firewall that is your shield against attacks on your mind from evil spirits and religious heretics?
Do you have solid scriptural truth that is the platform on which you stand & never compromise, 24 hours a day?
(Or do you absorb whatever thoughts or teachings that come your way, allowing your discernment to be infected by every corrupt wind-of-doctrine that comes down the pike)?
Well I recommend that you do like I do, and know what God has given to you dear saint. And then stand your ground against anything that tries to undermine what God has given to you.
My spiritual firewall is represented by 3 verses:
“Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:“
“And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;”
“For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.“
I KNOW that God has made me to be a fully forgiven, fully sanctified saint, who’s been made the righteousness of God. All as a free gift to me by the obedience of one, (the risen Lord Jesus Christ).
And anything that tries to marginalize those precious gifts that God has given to me is discarded. That’s a solid spiritual firewall, and it’s one that every born again Christian should stand behind.
Take in the beauty of what God has given to His saints in Christ:
Hebrews 10.10-14 (KJV)
9 “Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.
10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
11 And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins:
12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;
13 From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool.
14 For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.“
Like all saints, God is my teacher, and He has given to me the mind of Christ.
10 “But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.
16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.“
The false gospel and repentance
Please allow me to now express the following presentation about the false gospel & repentance:
“Repentance” is necessary for salvation. It’s a turning to Christ in faith for spiritual rescue.
However, repentance “of sins“ as a requiem for salvation is an unbiblical false teaching. (Frequently, corrupt modern bible versions have wording which state that you must repent of sins in regard to salvation).
Here’s an example of that heresy in the tract below where the reader is taught that repentance of sins is a requirement to be saved:
While turning away from our sins is a very normal response to God’s call to salvation, in no way does that contribute to someone’s righteousness or justification before God. Because our turning away from our sins is imperfect, and our behavior can not cleanse our sin guilt before God, (nor can it meet the standard of perfection that God requires for anyone to enter His kingdom, Ref. Matthew 5.48).
The ENTIRETY of a Christian’s righteousness & justification before God is a free gift from God, (received by grace through faith in the risen Lord Jesus Christ).
Consider please that the Christian is on a lifelong journey with God, and God continually renews the Christian’s mind, (which results in the person’s behavior and thinking to improve), and it’s beautiful. However it’s also true that non Christians can clean up their behavior. So what I look for to validate someone’s claim of salvation, is whether or not Christ has been formed in them: click here please for that test of salvation.
8 “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.”
17 “For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)
18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.
19 For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.“
So I thank you for sharing your valuable time with me.
All glory to the risen Lord Jesus Christ!
And no glory to us whatsoever!
