[I preface this post by stating that I know that there are Christians who are in the service, or who are in some way associated with patriotism. However that doesn’t void the truth that patriotism is evil].
Just the fact that patriotism is based in human “pride,” should immediately prove to any Christian that it is Satanic.
“Patriotism,” is the tool that Satan uses to get public support behind the lies & agendas of politicians. Who are (right now) setting the stage & conditioning public support for the anti Christ’s reign of world government, (read 2 Thessalonians chapter 2).
“Patriotism,” is the tool that Satan uses to motivate parents and kids to fuel the carnage of his war machine.
“Patriotism,” is the tool that Satan uses to compel people to swear allegiance to a secular government, (see Daniel chapter 3 below).
“Patriotism,” is the tool that Satan uses to engender pride in the heart of man.
Make no mistake my friend, “patriotism” is a tool of Satan.
“Patriotism,” is the exact opposite of what God wants our character to be.
God wants us to be humble, not proud, (read Proverbs 16.5 & James 4.6).
God wants our allegiance to be to the risen Lord Jesus Christ, (not to a secular government).
God wants us to be peace makers, not vengeful, aggressive, or war makers, (read Matthew 5.9).
God wants us to be “Christians,” (not “proud Americans”).
God wants our children and families to gather around Him, and be fully dependant on Him. (Not be self reliant, or have our identity in anything other than the risen Lord Jesus Christ).
God is not an American, and He loves the people of all countries that America opposes every bit as much as He loves you and I.
Our lives have only one overriding purpose, and that is for us to glorify the risen Lord Jesus Christ in everything that we do, and “patriotism” is antithetical to that purpose.
“Patriotism“ can not be blended be with Christianity any more than “Judaism” can be blended with Christianity, because they’re both antichrist, (read 1 John chapter 2).
All glory to the risen Lord Jesus Christ!
And no glory to us whatsoever!
(These verses are from Psalm 146)
(These verses are from Daniel chapter 3)
“Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD.”
16 These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:
17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
18 An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,
19 A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.
Most men will proclaim every one his own goodness: but a faithful man who can find?
Proverbs 8:13 – The fear of the LORD [is] to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.
Proverbs 11:2 – [When] pride cometh, then cometh shame: but with the lowly [is] wisdom.
Proverbs 16:5 – Every one [that is] proud in heart [is] an abomination to the LORD: [though] hand [join] in hand, he shall not be unpunished.
Proverbs 16:18 – Pride [goeth] before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.
Proverbs 26:12 – Seest thou a man wise in his own conceit? [there is] more hope of a fool than of him.

Proverbs 29:23 – A man’s pride shall bring him low: but honour shall uphold the humble in spirit.
12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.
15 Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.
Jeremiah 9:23 – Thus saith the LORD, Let not the wise [man] glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty [man] glory in his might, let not the rich [man] glory in his riches:
For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.
2 But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.
Romans 12:16 – [Be] of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.
Galatians 6:3 – For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.
Philippians 2:3 – [Let] nothing [be done] through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.
James 4:6 – But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.
1 John 2:16 – For all that [is] in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
