These are the ones that thrill me and make me all giddy inside.

It’s thrilling to have received:

completed forgiveness,

completed sanctification,

and

completed righteousness.

May these verses forever improve your understanding of what the finished redemptive work of Christ accomplished for every Christian.

 

Isaiah 61.10

 “I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.”

 

* Romans 3.22

Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:

 

* Romans 5.18-19

18 “Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.

19 For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

* Colossians 2.13

And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;

 Psalm 97.10-12

 Proverbs 16.5

 

Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to the LORD: though hand join in hand, he shall not be unpunished.

24 Make no friendship with an angry man; and with a furious man thou shalt not go:

25 Lest thou learn his ways, and get a snare to thy soul.

 

 Proverbs 26.4-5

 

4 Answer not a fool according to his folly, lest thou also be like unto him.

 John 5.24

 

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
